To help decorate the library, Book Club members will be creating one hundred pieces of art.

Book Club members will be hand drawing book covers from the top 100 most recommended books.

“Students will be making their art pieces by re-creating book covers using Photoshop and Illustrator, both computer apps,” adviser and librarian Yvonne Reyes said.

By helping the Book Club create art pieces, members may earn community hours.

“What I look forward to this year about being in the Book Club is the art that we will be creating to decorate the library,” freshman Erica Raya said.

The book club helps increase knowledge and interest for books.

“Ms. Reyes started the Book Club due to her passion for reading,” junior Lilian Cruz said.
